2021

FKG Dentaire presents the Rooter® X3000, redefining endodontic standards. This novel cordless endo-motor combines technology, functionality, and adaptability in a 20-centimeter unit. It stands out for the fastest speed on the market (3000 rpm), 10 programmable memories, and preset programs for different types of FKG files.

2020

FKG Dentaire expands its legacy with RACE® EVO & R-Motion® Two innovative new solutions reshaping root canal therapy: RACE®EVO for Continuous Rotation & R-Motion® for Reciprocating Motion.

The New Rooter® Universal Endomotor : One Size Fits All Rooter® Universal is the latest cordless endodontic motor from FKG. With preset and fully programmable settings and an integrated apex locator function, the cost-effective device drives all endodontic files with high precision and reliability.

2017

FKG presents its new Rooter™ S endodontic motor. The outstanding feature of this new instrument is its ability to be used both on its own and in combination with the new apex locator from FKG, the S-Apex™. 

2016

The XP-endo® Shaper is the latest addition to the XP-endo® range. It is a truly innovative shaping instrument which can be used to radically simplify endodontic sequences.

2015

Development of an exclusive FKG alloy, the “MaxWire®”. Launch of a revolutionary  and extremely flexible instrument for optimal cleaning of the canals, the “XP-endo® Finisher”, and a new zero taper glidepath instrument, the  “BT-Apisafe”.

2014

FKG celebrates its 20th anniversary. Opening of a state‑of‑the‑art training centre in La Chaux-de-Fonds.

2013

FKG adopts a new corporate identity. Launch of the FKG endodontic motor, the “Rooter®”, a new sequence of biological and conservative instruments, “BT-Race™”, and a new 3D obturation system, “TotalFill®”. Inauguration of a clean room intended for a range of sterile ready to use products. Opening of a branch in Dubai and training centres in Dubai and Oslo.

2012

FKG wins the Swiss Venture Club Award for its dynamism, high product quality, and its continuing innovation.

2008

Launch of the new file sequence "BioRace".

2010

Thanks to the growth of FKG business, an extension of 5'400 m2 was made to the new building.

2007

Launch of a new line of manual ergonomic instruments with an integrated decrementing system, the SMG "SafetyMemoGrip". Growing fast, the company relocated to a new building located at Le Crêt-du-Locle.

2004

Record breaking to celebrate FKG Dentaire 10th anniversary.

2001

Certification acquired for "Quality Management System" according to ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 / EN 46001 and CE certification (Dir. 93/42/CEE). Development of a new design for the NiTi rotary instrument, the "Rondo".

1999

Launch of the SMD "SafetyMemoDisc", a decrementing system to master metal fatigue.

1998

In order to comply with the regulatory and legal market obligations, FKG obtained the certification ISO 9002 / EN 46002

1997

Development of a completely revolutionary rotary NiTi instrument, the"Race" (Reamers with Alternating Cutting Edges). New CNC machines were developed to produce these new files in NiTi.

1994

Jean-Claude Rouiller took over the company "Flückiger & Huguenin Dentaire SA" and became the CEO and sole shareholder. The company was renamed “FKG Dentaire SA”.

1990

The split of "Flückiger & Huguenin SA" into two independent companies: "Flückiger and Huguenin Dentaire SA", specialised in the manufacture and commercialisation of dental articles and "Flückiger & Huguenin Appliques SA", specialised in making dials for the watch industry.

1994

Foundation of another company bearing the name "Produits Dentaires Sàrl". This company focuses on the manufacture of root canal instruments, posts and various screws.

1931

The company "W.E. Flückiger" was found by Willy Flückiger, dental engineer, producing various elements (rods, hooks, etc.).
